After I experienced bullying first hand when I was in high school, I’ve since believed in keeping my group of friends small, both outside and inside the industry. It also helped when I realised that I don’t need much outside the relationship my sister and I had because not only are we family but we’re the best of friends as well. We’ve formed a little comfort zone where we don’t have any close relationships in the blogging world and I guess that’s why we’re often asked the question as to who our barkada is by anyone curious. I also keep my circle small out of my line of work. I have a few people I call loyal friends and I honestly can’t complain! :) They’re the best! My circle got a little bigger recently when I started to become closer to three new people. Franco – our big boss/manager, Janina – who I randomly met but relate very much to plus Richard who I got to know more after all the stories Verniece had for me during their trip to Korea a few months ago. If you look at the little group we formed, you would actually notice how random it is and that we’re very different a lot of ways. Different personalities, different backgrounds, different circles and even different professions. Yet, it just works! :) I guess the best friendships really form by chance!
I didn’t get to join the first trip to Korea so we had to arrange another one where we’re all complete. We’ve been wanting to go to the beach together and fortunately, HENNAN BOHOL wanted to work with us! :) We spent a total of 3 nights, 4 days at the beautiful Alona beach to explore and experience first hand what makes HENNAN BOHOL so popular nowadays.
I don’t know if you’ve noticed but there’s been an influx of new game players in the hopes of becoming a big chain of hotel in the Philippines. We grew up with the usual names but in the past few years, a lot of companies have made the great leap and invested here. It’s a win-win situation for both parties thought because for them, the Philippines is among the popular destinations to go to now while we, not only have more choices but jobs and money are given to the Filipinos as well! :) Hennan Bohol is one of those hotels. It’s made for families and groups that would want to enjoy a number of amenities all in one place. There’s the beautiful beach, a number of swimming pools that you would never get tired of swimming in, a view to one of the best sunsets in the world, 4 restaurants that serve different cuisines and rooms that come in sizes to fit every person’s needs :)
We took the first flight out of Manila and landed in Tagbilaran airport just in time for breakfast. We were escorted to our respective villas (1 for boys and another for girls), dropped our bags and headed straight to Christina’s, a restaurant that was a kembot away from our villas. In that restaurant is where the lounge exclusive for it’s customers staying in the villas is located as well :) They serve drinks and food all day! After eating our hearts out, we spent the rest of our day lounging by the pool and talking about the most random of things.
Hennan Bohol has an in-house spa and we got treated to an hour each of their signature full body massage. We got to choose from an array of oils and got to experience their sauna and jacuzzi as well!
I would be lying if I told you that we were productive during our stay in Hennan, we promised each other that we would allot time to work on deadlines and blogposts but the comfortable room, our very own private villa pool, the food, the service and view plus throw in the amazing company we had just made it so difficult for us to get out of vacation mode :P I mean, can you blame us?
A big thank you to Hennan Bohol for a lovely stay! Till the next property! :)
